Long before the chaos, on the planet Simia Primus, a society of monkeys reigned in perfect harmony. Their civilization was advanced, but their minds were simple, unified by a common purpose: survival and community. They knew neither extreme duality, nor the glory of heroism, nor the darkness of villainy. They were one.
Everything changed the day "The Great Shard" reached Simia Primus. It was not a simple cosmic storm, but a cataclysm of electromagnetic waves from a distant world called Earth. These waves, charged with the information of countless human pop culture movies and legends, mixed with the psychic energy of the cosmos. It was not a physical explosion, but a mental one. The storm bombarded the collective consciousness of the monkeys with the echoes of these stories: heroes and monsters, relentless hunters and merciless machines, beings of light and creatures of the night.
The unified mind of the monkeys shattered.
From this chaos, "Psycho Mode" was born: the manifestation of these fractured personalities. Each monkey awoke as someone new, a living embodiment of a legendary archetype. The harmonious society collapsed, giving way to a new era of factions, alliances, and eternal conflicts.
In the new world, monkeys no longer identify by family, but by their "Mode." Among the innumerable personalities that emerged, some factions became dominant, each with its own legends:
The Hunters of Shadow and Steel: Monkeys with a primal instinct and a futuristic vision. Here we find the stealthy Predator, equipped with Laser Sight and advanced Viewfinders, and the relentless Bounty Hunters, always searching for their next prey. Some have even perfected the art of the War Mask, becoming living legends.
The Synthetic Legion: Monkeys whose flesh fused with metal and alien technology. They are the imposing Cyborgs, the resilient Steel, and occasionally, the enigmatic Aliens who camouflage themselves among them. It is also rumored that the great Kang leads some of their ranks, while others are trapped in a Psycho Game loop, fighting programs from a parallel universe.
The Forsaken and the Living Horrors: Trapped between life and death, or beyond comprehension. The walking Skeletors and Skulls are spectral entities, often accompanied by howling Zombies. It is said that Ghosts haunt the ruins, and some whisper of the macabre presence of Saw and Hannibal, who delight in fear.
The Masked Monkeys: Hidden behind masks that define their new identity and purpose. Here you will find the iconic Ghostface sowing terror, the mysterious Masked who hide secrets, and the legendary Vader, whose presence inspires fear.
The Travelers and the Cosmic: Monkeys connected to the far reaches of Space and the Galaxy, capable of manipulating Portals and transcending realities. Among them, the Jonkey ventures through the cosmos, while the Macaque becomes a symbol of cunning among the stars. It is said that some were even touched by Strange energies.
The Broken Balance: Light and Darkness: The Great Shard also divided their spiritual essence. Some monkeys were blessed with wings and a celestial aura, becoming Angels, hoping to restore peace. Others, however, embraced the fracture, becoming Devils and the sinister Munrra and Raven, reveling in the chaos that now reigns. Among these forces are also the rare and powerful Epics, and the more common Commons, who populate this world.
On Simia Primus, calm is a forgotten memory. Now, only conflict, survival, and identity remain. Each monkey is a reflection of a legend, a piece in a puzzle of madness.
